🎬 ABOUT THIS VIDEO SERIES
===============================
In this six part series we will reveal the wonderfully diverse rainforest of the Yasuní while also explaining what our plan is to help restore and protect this special place.
In the next episode in this series we will give you a proper tour of the land so you can get familiar with every nook and cranny of this place.
🔎 ABOUT THIS PROJECT
===============================
We are embarking on a new journey. To help protect the most biodiverse place on Earth.
Our new project, led by our own team of biologists, will aim to protect and restore rainforest in the buffer zone of the Yasuní National Park. Located in the Amazon region of Ecuador, this rainforest is home to the highest concentration of species on the planet.
We have laid the cornerstone by purchasing 140 hectares of forest that borders the national park, securing its protection and establishing a base for our project. Together with members of the local community and local experts, we will develop solutions to stop forest degradation and kick-start forest regeneration in the area.

    The real answer to the reintegration of wildlife into the ecosystem includes humans. And unfortunately there are far too may of them. Which is a world wide problem of course, it is true however that until such time as that human overpopulation problem is resolved we are just messing around the edges of having a fully balanced and sustainable planet. Sad really.

    Uma cervejola com tremoços na companhia de amigos é sempre mto bom! Video muito informativo como sempre! My opinion is that only with control control control can the Lupin be managed into a diverse and healthy ecosystem, but that would need the authorities and govermental support.

And how protecting it costs money wich doesn´t exist in many regions. If the world doesn´t work together we´ll lose the lungs of the world. Also your production Quality and the Pictures are out of this world. You´ll be much bigger in a short amount of time. Good luck <3

    We are here in Iceland for a week. I love it. Magnificent. WOW. 40 percent forested it once was. Humans cut the trees but the goats ate the saplings. So no trees. Blame the goats. 🤪. IF 300,000 Icelander people would plant 100 trees per year x20, we could change the face of aarakis forever. Love your work We can donate, for now.

    Man you really undersold the dangers of datura imo(tbf you also sounded like you don't fully know what it is, which is fine) Datura is a VERY strong deliriant, that some people have used to try to 'trip'. I've never read a single good trip report from datura, it only takes a couple seeds to start having a full on hell experience, and the dose that causes you to start seeing things is pretty much right on the edge of a lethal dose as well. It'll paralyze your body, and just force you along whatever ride it's gonna show you(I remember reading a trip report where the guy saw a massive ass spider sneak in through his door and start eating him, while he 'screamed' in pain the whole time. The 'screaming' was muffled mumbling as he was just tripping balls and couldn't move in his bed...) It's a literal nightmare experience 100% of the time, with essentially no way of administering safe doses. And if you OD on the shit you essentially just get to suffer through those hellish visions until your heart stops.. 'Devils Trumpet' is a very apt nickname for the flower, especially as when fully bloomed the flower itself is quite pretty.

    The right solution would be to use genetically modified Lupin, which is infertile. You can use it for reforestation, but after some time, you can slowly replace it with native species.

      We're dealing with the problem of non-native mahoganies as they ate a favorite in tree plantings as well as in tourist photography. It's quite hard to communicate to the public about the complexity of ecosystems. Another case is mangrove planting but with the wrong species in specific areas.
